Utilizing Zeolite for Feed & Bedding

Adding Zeolite to animal feed enhances overall health and growth as it is full of electrolytes, trace minerals and elements needed for optimal growth. Zeolite is an organic, non-toxic, eco-friendly solution for detoxifying the intestinal tract of heavy metals and toxins, nitrogen, and methane, all while improving digestion and optimizing mineral and protein absorption in the intestinal tract.

Our mineral, Clinoptilolite Zeolite, is a unique hydrated sodium aluminosilicate with an open crystalline structure. Its three-dimensional framework of aluminum, silicon, and oxygen atoms creates channels and cages that remain stable even in stomach acid and the digestive tract. Rather than breaking down, zeolite captures contaminants and gases, allowing animals to safely pass them. It also absorbs toxins such as aflatoxins and ochratoxins during digestion. In open environments, zeolite continues to trap ammonia as nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and other gases. Additionally, manure containing zeolite has been shown to mature weeks faster during composting compared to standard manure.

Animal Health

Zeolite is the only naturally occurring mineral with a negative charge, offering numerous health benefits due to its unique chemistry. When added to animal feed, it can reduce the need for dicalcium phosphate by up to 50%. Zeolite effectively absorbs ammonia produced from non-protein nitrogen (NPN), acting as a reservoir and slow-release mechanism for nitrogen. This allows for the safe inclusion of 4 to 6 times more NPN in the diet.

Stalls & Bedding

Zeolite is a highly effective absorbent and desiccant for stalls and bedding. It captures moisture and gases, allowing them to be easily swept away. Additionally, zeolite helps control odors and other gases while supporting beneficial aerobic bacteria and reducing anaerobic digestion. It also absorbs urine and moisture, trapping ammonia and urea as nitrogen.

Environment

Zeolite reduces the time required for manure to compost, while reducing odors and off-gassing. Zeolite improves the structure of soil, allowing it to harbor more microbial life while increasing the water and nutrient capacity. Zeolite reduces noxious odors and gasses during compost by reducing anaerobic activity and absorbing ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

Utilizing Montmorillonite for Feed

Adding Montmorillonite to animal feed enhances overall health and growth as it is not only full of trace minerals and elements needed for optimal growth. It is an organic, non-toxic, eco-friendly solution for stabilizing the intestinal tract, improving digestion, and optimizing mineral and protein absorption.

Animal Feed
Mineral clays are used with standard animal feed to boost an animal’s immune systems and alkalize the gut. These minerals can take the form of salt licks, top feed, or be mixed with water.
Dairy Cows/Cattle
Mineral enrichment has shown to reduce mycotoxins and aflatoxins in dairy cows and cattle. Studies have shown a significant reduction of mycotoxins in the milk of dairy cows and increased maturation in cattle.
Pigs

Studies have shown that mineral supplementation for pigs significantly reduces stress levels and reach maturation level for slaughter at an average of 2 weeks earlier. Pigs were fighting less and after feeding, would return to their areas for a nap. Before mineral supplementation, these pigs would normally fight.

Fish
Mineral supplementation for fish has been shown to increase size of fish as well as fertility and health of the eggs that were laid. Using minerals in the water can also help filter the water fish are living in.
Chicken

Minerals introduced into daily feed can reduce toxicity and provide a diverse and enriched diet for increased size, better health, reduced outbreaks, and egg production.

Animal Husbandry
Enriching livestock and pet diets with minerals have been proven to yield higher production, boost immunity, and decrease stress levels with less cost to the environmental and a totally natural solution.
Pet Food Additives
Mineral supplementation in domestic pets is becoming increasingly popular over the last several years as pet owners are learning about the real benefits livestock are reaping from a completely natural solution. Minerals can be an additive to food or mixed in during processing for pet producers.

High-Purity Zeolite ›

Zeolite is commonly known as the ‘rock sponge’ for holding half its weight in liquid. With its strong Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), Zeolite is able to simultaneously absorb heavy metals while locking them away within its ‘cage-like’ molecular structure.

Zeolite has emerged as the smart and natural choice to diminish ammonia toxicity and scouring. It increases nitrogen levels in manures for higher fertilizer values; reduces odor levels in sheds and with a safer, slow release off ammonia from urea; produces lower mortality rates in fowls and limits the moisture levels in organic wastes.

Pacific Minerals Group, LLC (PMG), is currently holding claims to some of the highest-purity clinoptilolite Zeolite mined in the Southwest today.

Pacific Minerals Group Zeolite is approved by the FDA for ingestion by all animals, and is a beneficial dietary mineral.

While natural clinoptilolite zeolite is generally recognized as safe for human ingestion by the FDA, our zeolite is not handled for this purpose. We use industrial-grade zeolite equipment, and we do not prepare our material for human use.

We ship directly all over the world via truck, rail, and ocean freight. We can accommodate any freight to any location.

Yes, we package, label, and ship our zeolite under several brands.

Yes, we offer blending services. Contact us for more information.

Our zeolite, in its milled and granular form, weighs approximately 50 lbs per cubic foot. A super sack of our milled material is generally sold in 1 metric ton (2,200 lbs), and our granular material is sold in one US ton (2,000 lbs).

High-Purity Montmorillonite ›

Montmorillonite clay is very similar in property to Bentonite clay, differing mainly by the mineral composition. It was created millions of years ago from volcanic formations when mineral sea deposits came in contact with the Earth’s surface at incredibly high temperatures. They both are an excellent detoxing agent and used in a variety of industries. Montmorillonite is often used in farming and agriculture as it is an excellent soil conditioner and amendment that is proven to grow better, larger, more nutritious garden produce. It’s not a nitrogen-type fertilizer, Montmorillonite has a nutrient delivery system and buffer for fertilizers and humus. It has also proven to have excellent benefits for livestock growth and production. Furthermore, it is an 100% all natural alternative to the existing methods and practices. The use of Montmorillonite as a livestock feed supplement has been exponentially growing over the last decade. It is perfect for the organic farmer’s needs.
